Undercliff Bakery
Down in the depths of St Lawrence, along the Undercliff and in a grove of trees lies the private bakery of Kate Gooden who produces handmade bread for her discerning customers. Among the ingredients she uses are various vegetables and fruits and there is a willingness to make special breads to order if required, never mind the cakes and fancy stuff!
Kate’s bread products are sold at the local St. Lawrence Post Office and Stores in Spindlers Road, or you can call in at her bakery . You will also find her bread in the Central Hotel in Ventnor or on Saturdays at the Community Café in Albert St. where you can also get a nice cup of coffee.
